Carly Albaum, M.A. (Supervised Practice)
Carly Albaum received her master’s degree in Clinical-Developmental Psychology from York University. She is working under the supervision of Dr. Jonathan Weiss as she completes the final stages of her Ph.D. Carly’s Ph.D. work focuses on mental health treatment for youth with autism and other neurodevelopmental conditions. She is the recipient of a Canadian Institutes of Health Research doctoral award. Carly completed her clinical practica in the Toronto District School Board, where she conducted psychoeducational and diagnostic assessments, and in Child & Family Services at Mackenzie Health Hospital, where she provided psychotherapy for children and adolescents, and their families. Carly has experience providing evidence-based intervention for youth with neurodevelopmental conditions (e.g., autism, ADHD, learning disabilities) who are facing challenges with anxiety, depression, and emotion regulation.
